As an Agency Social Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in a variety of settings, including residential homes, community centers, and healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Individualized Care: Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Daily Living Assistance: Support individuals with daily activities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Community Integration: Assist service users in accessing and participating in community resources and activities.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential records of care provided and progress made.
  • Safety and Inclusion: Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all individuals.
  • Behavioral Support: Respond to challenging behaviors with empathy, professionalism, and appropriate interventions.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for the rights, needs, and preferences of service users, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Social Care, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in a social care setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Team Player: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
