Access Healthcare, a leading healthcare agency, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Social Care Workers to join our dynamic team. As an Agency Social Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in a variety of settings, including residential homes, community centres, and healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Individualized Care: Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
- Daily Living Assistance: Support individuals with daily activities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
- Community Integration: Assist service users in accessing and participating in community resources and activities.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential records of care provided and progress made.
- Safety and Inclusion: Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all individuals.
- Behavioral Support: Respond to challenging behaviors with empathy, professionalism, and appropriate interventions.
- Advocacy: Advocate for the rights, needs, and preferences of service users, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Social Care, Social Work, or a related field.
- Registration: Registration with CORU (The Health and Social Care Professionals Council) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in a social care setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Attributes: Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
